Overview of position
CTG is looking for candidates whose experience match the below TOR for our operations in Abyei.

Role objectives
Prepare documents for the acquisition of equipment & ICT services like electronic catalogues & manuals comprising of technical guidance on repair & maintenance of new technologies.

Monitor the physical inventory of stocked ICT goods on a regular basis to ensure accuracy of records & location of assets.

Provides technical direction, guidance, advise & support on advanced software & applications on logistical & assets management matters.

Assist in monitoring contractual performance of vendors for goods & services & verifies financial invoices thereof.

Manage & maintain a comprehensive electronic database of expendable & non expendable items using existing electronic reports from the assets management unit & UMOJA.

Initiate procurement processes for spare parts & related supplies through the supply chain management tool, Power Apps.

Assist with the preparation of cost estimates & annual budget proposals for the unit.

Assist with reviews of unit’s budget performance reports ensuring valid & adequate variance explanations between approved budgets & actual expenditures are provided.

Assist in tracking the delivery status & access to software services, related invoices & supporting e-documentation.

Train staff & other focal points on the efficient use of computerized systems especially for forecasting, inventory, Power BI reports & analytical purposes.

Prepare written reports & memos as required & perform relevant functions as assigned.

Coordinate with focal points from FTS technical staff, assets management unit, receiving & inspection unit, MOVCON, procurement section, acquisitions unit & other field missions.

Act as focal point in recording, reporting, of contracted personnel attendance & entitlement claims.

Provide prompt & effective solutions.

Project reporting
This role reports to the line manager.
